Jefferson Elementary receives grant from the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries

Jefferson Elementary has received a $7,000 grant from The Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries.

“I am so excited for what this means to our students, and I am so thankful for the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries,” said Carol Weimer Williams, Jefferson's library media specialist.

More than $930,000 in grants will be distributed to 160 school libraries across the country this year for the purchase of books and reading materials.
