Columbus area schools receiving library grants
Four local schools - Coffeeville Elementary in Coffeeville, Franklin Academy Medical and Wellness Magnet School in Columbus, Stokes-Beard Elementary Technology and Communication Magnet School in Columbus and Fifth Street Junior High School in West Point - will receive money for their libraries from The Laura Bush Foundation for America's Libraries.

L.C. Swain Middle School recently received a $7,000 grant from the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries.
The money will be used to update the library’s nonfiction section, acquire more bilingual books and add to the periodicals.

Bryant Awarded Library Grant

Bryant Middle School has been awarded a $7,000 library grant from The Laura Bush Foundation forAmerica’s Libraries. More than $875,000 is being distributed to 131 school libraries across the country. Bryant Middle School is the only school in Utah to receive this award.

Calhoun County awarded Laura Bush Foundation grant
Calhoun County High School Media Center is one of six schools in South Carolina to be awarded a Laura Bush Foundation Grant this year. Grant funds will be used to expand the collection and upgrade the ebook selections to create an enhanced reading experience for challenged readers and to provide current selections for the most accomplished readers.
